1. What is a Gospel Account? (John 21:24-25)

  • 7 reveal the goodness and identity of Jesus:
    I AM the bread of life (6:35, 41, 48)
    I AM the light of the world (8:12)
    I AM the door of the Sheep (10:7,9)
    I AM the good shepherd (10:11,14)
    I AM the resurrection and the life (11:25)
    I AM the way, the truth, and the life no comes to the Father except by me (14:6)
    I AM the true vine (15:1)
  • The other 7 thunder and smoke the sheer glory and “Godness” of Jesus as the second person of theTrinity:
    Responding to the Samaritan woman, if he was the Messiah, Jesus said to her, “I AM, whospeaks to you” (4:26)
    When Jesus walked on the water to His disciples, “And He said to them, “I AM; do not fear” (6:20)
    “...If you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins” (8:24)
