  • 7 reveal the goodness and identity of Jesus:
    I AM the bread of life (6:35, 41, 48)
    I AM the light of the world (8:12)
    I AM the door of the Sheep (10:7,9)
    I AM the good shepherd (10:11,14)
    I AM the resurrection and the life (11:25)
    I AM the way, the truth, and the life no comes to the Father except by me (14:6)
    I AM the true vine (15:1)
  • The other 7 thunder and smoke the sheer glory and “Godness” of Jesus as the second person of theTrinity:
    Responding to the Samaritan woman, if he was the Messiah, Jesus said to her, “I AM, whospeaks to you” (4:26)
    When Jesus walked on the water to His disciples, “And He said to them, “I AM; do not fear” (6:20)
    “...If you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins” (8:24)
    “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM” (8:28)
    “Truly I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (8:58)
    “I say it [predicting his betrayal] to you now, before it happens, so that you might believe when it happens that I AM” (13:19)
    At His arrest in the Garden, “Jesus said to them, “I AM” (18:5, 6, 8)
