Stan Johnson

Stan grew up on a farm in Denair, a little town in the Central Valley of California. His parents were believers in Jesus Christ and raised him at home and in church to follow Christ.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology, Stan headed toward seminary via Multnomah School of the Bible, in Portland, Oregon. Upon graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary, Stan began full time ministry, in 1981, as a Youth Pastor at Sierra Bible Church in Sonora, Calif.

In 1988 Stan’s moved with his wife and 2 small children to Flagstaff, AZ where he served as Youth Pastor for 6 years.

Stan left Flagstaff to church plant in Wisconsin, and then a stay in California near his family.  Then in 1996 the Johnsons moved back to Flagstaff to serve as the Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries at FCF.

The Johnsons have 3 children.

Trevor, the oldest, is a High School English teacher in Salinas, CA.

Emily works with disabled adults at McLean Bible Church in Virginia.

Their youngest, Chelsea, is married to Kenny Tinklenberg and is in the masters program for fine art in Greensboro, NC.

Stan enjoys fishing and disc golf and anything outside and visiting his children.
