As a Junior at NAU, Gary found his way to FCF in need of the transforming work of Jesus Christ. Gary immediately got involved with the college ministry and was discipled by the college pastor at the time. After graduating he worked two years with college students in evangelism and discipleship as a staff intern.
Gary met his wife, Nancy at FCF and they’ve been married for 42 years and have three girls, a boy and seven grandchildren.
Over the years Gary has been involved with Sunday school, Jr. high, Sr. high, college, young married, home fellowships, deacon of Men’s ministry and parachurch ministries like The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and served on the board of directors for the Flagstaff Mission to the Navajos for over ten years.
After serving the two year college intern program he pursued a secondary teaching degree and taught and coached high school for three years. He then pursued a post grad degree in dentistry and served in the U.S. Naval Corp for 3 years and subsequently returned to Flagstaff and practiced dentistry for 25 years. Gary retired from dentistry in 2015.
Over the years Gary has participated on short term mission trips to Mexico, Sierra Leone, and Nepal.
Gary is currently serving at FCF as a deacon of Men’s ministry. His heart is to encourage Christian men to grow and mature in their faith with Christ.
