Cub Scouts is a balanced program and outlook on life. Scouts participate in sports and other activities, but they also learn about responsibility. Scouting teaches responsibility in our families, with our friends, as citizens, and as caretakers of our planet. It’s not just about providing activities for the boys but about building character. Cub Scouts is character training.
Participation is open to the community.

Cub Scout Posts
Cub Scouts was started by the Boy Scouts in 1930 and is designed as a family program. We work together with you, the parent to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting. The 10 purposes of Cub Scouting are:
- Character Development
- Spiritual Growth
- Good Citizenship
- Sportsmanship and Fitness
- Family Understanding
- Respectful Relationships
- Personal Achievement
- Friendly Service
- Fun and Adventure
- Preparation for Boy Scouts
All of our activities are based around the above purposes and we believe that all of these should be done under the guidance of God’s word. We recognize God in all that we do and thank Him for all that we do.
Charter Organizations for Cub Scouts own the pack and can direct and make policy decisions. This allows FCF to make this a uniquely Christian pack. Leadership of the pack are required to sign a statement of faith. This way, parents know those teaching the boys are on the same page and approach life from the same world view.
Pack 112 began as a small Christian homeschool pack that met on the east side of town. Preston & Mailynn Korn stepped into leadership of Pack 112 after that first year and received permission to bring it under FCF as its Charter Organization.
That was in the fall of 2007. Many wonderful families, fathers, sons and mothers from throughout the community (not just FCF) have since been involved in this ministry making Tuesday nights at FCF a wonderful community where folks have thrived, loved, made new friends, and grown wise young men.
